I haven't been driven away, I just haven't had as much time and motivation to make hmv's. I have a hmv in the works that I work on from time to time. It's not very far from finished though. Aya was a beast at pumping out hmvs, that's just not me. No idea how he did it. As for the drama that happens from time to time in the threads, I just lurk and stay clear of it. It has no effect on any production I do.

So im interested in making a mellow hmv using gifs from this series (similar to rikka fellatio, where you expect to see the same images a lot). Only thing is, I would want to upscale the fps so it looks smoother. Would something like that even be possible for something with a low amount of frames? Ive downloaded SVP but I dont think that will help me much. any advice would be appreciated, or shoot me down if its not possible.

SVP does what you're talking about, but client-side only. If you want frame interpolation embedded in the file itself, you have to use something a plugin like Twixtor.

i suggest this just to say yes, its very possible, but also cos svp is easy to configure to avoid artifacting. i cant say the same for plugins

Forget Twixtor. It will vastly increase the length of time working on your project. You inevitably find yourself trying to iron out artifacts, and (re)syncing is tedious. Expect lots of slow rendering.

Hi, I'm toying around a bit with HMV's and cock hero videos.
Making some of my own but not so many.
Right now I'm putting beat meters on existing HVM's and if you want any HMV to have a beatmeter then just let me know wich one and I'll look in to it.
If the songs allow it I can do beats of different difficulties, it's quite fun.

Yeah I don't add meters to the short ones that are only a single tempo/rythm unless someone really want that. No need for that, If there are some random 10 second bursts of some beats I can put up a "new beats hint"
The longer ones with different tempos are nice to have beatmeter on, so that you dont mess it all up.
I do the ones that I like myself, but as I said if you want a specific one made then I might do that one too. :)

It's alright but at the moment it's got way too much useless crap in it. You've tried to hard to make it a proper game instead of a good fap session.
The points and perks shit can be dropped completely, nobody wants to remember that stuff while they are fapping. Similarly the half beat/full beat thing is a bit silly, just keep it at full beats and adjust the tempo of the beatmeter instead.
Bonus rounds can just be merged into the main rounds, the idea is nice but when you're watching the same clip you've already jerked it to in the main round it loses it's effect.
If you do want bonus rounds have them be infrequent, hard as fuck and using new content. Play around with it, maybe have the bonus rounds be from a completely different video or focus on kinks and that you like but don't wanna dedicate a main round to. For example futa or tentacle bonus rounds in an otherwise vanilla cockhero.
Breaks were way too long too considering even the hard version wasn't that hard, just drop 'em completely. After all losing is pretty fun itself, so don't worry about it being too hard.
Finally the last round was a bit anticlimatic and there wasn't any sort of reward round either. People don't wanna have to open another video entirely just to cum. Just make a highlight wheel of all the best bits of the chosen source content paired with a super fast beat and messages encouraging them to spill it all.

I usually try to sync the action to the beat. I tend to use EDM or industrial rock for my audio tracks.
My sources are usually listed in some way at the end or beginning of the HMV. For older HMVs in which I didn't do this you should be able to find the sources at my pastebin here:

The bonus rounds are just the "fun stuff" included as side clips in the g4e.
Yes merging the bonus and main, or just skipping all the bonus shit is a good idea.
I'll try some things and see if I come up with something better, not worse atleast.

Honestly just using base sounds plus the beat for fap speed is perfectly fine. Finding good music for these things is damn hard and the novelty of there being no music and just the girls fucking was enjoyable.
The good thing about making a hmv/fap hero is you can jumble the scenes around to have them flow in whatever way you like, obviously you were a bit limited here given the characters were talking but if you use content that doesn't have speech (that is in English at least) in any other works you do then that would help make it a lot more intense.
Decent first go though, just keep your priorities on trying to get the viewer off.
Anyone knows the source of the hentai this HMV came from? There were no indication in the HMV itself and reverse image didn't give any results.
