The person who bought, scanned, cleaned and decensored it asked for the work to not be shared. This was information I discovered after having started working on it. As a result I have since dropped the project. Only 3 pages were completed.

It wasn't "kept", it was sold. Normally I'm not bothered by that kind of thing straight out of Japan for loads of reasons (contact, piracy, censorship laws etc), but this is different from that.
Belldandy100 put in a lot of work and continues to do so, a lot gets shared for free and some of it gets paywalled. If people start sharing his stuff all over the place (like it already is being shared) I assume he'll eventually quit, and that's not something I want to promote.
It's not a problem if he's okay with it, but I've yet to actually ask.
It might have been better had I never shared these few pages, I never meant to cause frustration, sorry about that.

That's pretty cool -- but you were already paid for your work. Digital media skips the first part of the scenario by already being online. If he modified it of his own accord and then started trying to sell access to it, then any complaint he might have about 'pirates' would also be applicable to him from the perspective of the original creator -- hypocritical. If he put it online but only wants his 'buddies' to have access to it, albeit for free, then he's selfish AND stupid.

Once you lay down the flat fills, spend some time messing with hue, brightness, contrast and blend modes to try get object to cooperate instead of stand out, that's what the foreground is for right? Your choice of fills are quite bold, drawing attention away from the intended focus.

Why the fuck people do this? You don't own the doujin, you didn't draw or write it. You have no right to tell others what to do or not do with the scans. Editing artwork (the descensoring) it's already an offense to the original artist, coloring really isn't.
