Reality: You have to respect everyone's civil rights. The drug war is a byproduct of a treaty with China, Nixon not wanting hippies and blacks to vote, Hearst didn't want hemp to compete with his wood pulp paper process, police officers got more power and money so they signed on, and the pharmaceutical companies that want you to take their drugs instead of yours.
So everyone, wakeup, splash some water on your face and look in the mirror and end the drug war and focus the money from taxes on mental health and we will have at least a 80% drop in violence.
People with mental health issues that make them prone to more violent behavior need social workers and therapy. Programs that have been shown to work in Portugal and Seattle.
