I don't even hunt for the nuisance factor, its more about just quality of meat and how I was brought up. I grew up in absolute poverty, and my Dad deer hunting was our primary source of meat for the year. Using his fathers rifle he single-handedly kept us out of the food bank.
My dad was a true outdoorsman, and taught me the balance of nature when I was very young. For better or worse, humans have upset the balance in a lot of cases and it's our responsibility to regulate it now. He was also very strict about how we hunted, and only believed in taking an animals life if it posed a danger to those around you, or was vital to your survival.
