Yeah, cross your eyes and try to focus on something imaginary really far way.

The trick is to see three images in total, the third one is in the middle of the other two and is actually you just overlapping two different images.

It's a bit tricky, but you can learn to do it within about a second or so pretty easy.

has to do with the distortion of the lenses, some correct for it, some don't. Currently making my own vr headset, so that's why I know.
