I just tried that and everything went blurry. I tried many times but I can't seem to get the two middle images on focus. Is it supposed to look that way or perhaps I need to upgrade my vision drivers?

I actually managed to achieve some kind of result my crossing my eyes but doing it for more than a few seconds hurts.

You can view stereoscopic photos/videos by simply crossing your eyes until the two images overlap. When done correctly it should look like 3 images, with your focus on the middle image.
The actual VR stuff with the bubble-like 180 degree camera requires an actual VR head mounted display. You can still get the stereoscopic 3D effect from it by crossing your eyes, but it's not the same as watching it through a VR HMD with head-tracking.
Also you can't just clone a 2D image and get 3D, such as >>8362167 To get real 3D you need a stereoscopic camera (two cameras the same distance apart as your eyes)
The cloned image will still seem sharper when cross-eyed, but it isn't actually 3D.
You can tell the actual stereoscopic content from the cloned 2D, because the real ones have slightly different angles on each side.
Lots of the cross-eyed "3D" images/videos you run across on the internet are just 2D images cloned in a video/photo editor, because very few people actually have stereoscopic camera setups; though they're becoming more common as VR has gotten somewhat affordable.

They are not cardboard, but suppose to have the magnet switch thing to I guess move stuff around, no need for a remote I guess. I hope they work decently enough to work with these types of vids

if you have two eyes try closing one and compare what you can see when you switch eyes
one eye has a slightly different perspective to the other, and if you look closely at some of these webms you'll notice that the video on the left isn't identical to the right
