I just use irfanview for all my images (yeah webms are technically videos but the way they're used on 4chan is basically just an improved gif). Using an actual video player for webms seems utterly worthless since it doesn't have as good functions and interface as an imageviewer, and irfanview has video support so it can view webms just fine.

I use bomi (GUI based on MPV) and VLC, and both are great for their ability to have perfect-sounding audio even when slowed to like 60% speed. At speeds below that, VLC has better sound quality than bomi. But bomi has a much more intuitive interface and quick/easy keyboard shortcuts for AB-repeat as well as for zooming & panning (zoom isn't restricted by aspect ratio either). Both players are excellent at playing everything I've ever thrown at them, including unfinished/corrupt files.
I don't know why anyone would actually prefer watching porn on MPC-HC when it intentionally doesn't have AB-repeat as a feature. AB repeat is so based for porn viewing.
Is there a player that can interpolate/smooth-out *slow motion* playback, so it looks like it's running at 24 fps (even though playback has been slowed down to, say, 18 fps)? I can do this in an editor like adobe premiere, but I was wondering if any players can do it on the fly? Maybe PotPlayer with madVR?

you know you can get the thumbnails without having to get MPC-HC right? You get them from a thumbnail-making program that comes bundled with the MPC-HC installer called "Icaros." It uses ffmpeg to be able to look into every video format and generate a thumbnail for it in Windows explorer.
