In July of 2012, Brazzers removed 145 scenes from one of their sites without prior notice, effectively shutting down the site permanently only days after releasing new content for it.
The short, formal statement that followed the removal noted that Brazzers felt "The site has run its course" and advised members to look forward to other projects of interest from the company in the future.
The name of the site was Pornstars Punishment.
Why did they do so in such an extreme manner? It wasn't that hardcore in general and not even that much crazier than some of their other series' at the time.
I mean now they're basically a comedy-meme-story-based borderlining on softcore site because I guess that's what people want to see, but they were a bit different a few years ago.
