These are some dope artworks designed by 18 year old Jediah. His Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/Jediah
He also makes some good music.

"Designed"
>>267012
He did it from scratch. You're mad cause you can't design for shit
tracing and adding filters/effects doesn't count as "design," and never really did.
that's just illustration...mostly tracing.
get the rulers & pencils, get German... or get out.
tracing already designed design--using a hip, edgy added effect...
doesn't mean i'm good, it just shows mad plagiarize skills:
The polygon-low-poly-illustrator thing has been blowing up over the past few months. It's become a little overrated desu.
>>267021
He doesn't add filters and effects. He gets the base image and makes shapes of each section and forms the bodies and add ons and fits it together. He spends hours on these.

This dude was the one that kind of started it. He got reposted by Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies and Logic and shit a few months ago and started a little trend with quite a big following.
So, OP. By the stuff you're replying you're just a huge fanboy or him or a friend of his or whatever but please don't post here if you can't take criticism because it's not really "design" in many of our eyes and if you disagree that's up to you but don't get mad at us for saying it's really not that good or design at all.
He's onto us:

stop fucking posting
This stuff is hot garbage. Its a shame to see so many great rap artists portrayed like this.
>hypebeast fag shills his shitty tracings
>selfposts to hell and back in the most blatant way
>claims that he started the low-poly trend (bruuuuh)
>the "following" he talks about is less than 30 reblogs
>goes on to cry on Twitter
thanks for this thread op

If that's true then maybe he should put more form and style into it than the image trace tool. Why pain-staking trace from scratch if it's gonna have the same awkward shapes as pressing a button in illustrator?
Vector traces can be dope and I know they're a lot of work when done manually. But experiment with the form, shadow, and colour a little bit to do service to your labour.
Also illustration isn't design, and if you need to put a fugly watermark all over your stuff just don't bother posting it on the internet at all. Top left and middle bottom look the best because the colours are harmonious and it doesn't look as filtered but the "design" aspects, aka 50% your own logo and name, detract more than they add.
Idk why I'm writing this all out on a shitpost but keep makin, the drive to make stuff is the most important thing to improving and doin work. But the tone of this post is ridiculous and you made it on 4CHAN OF ALL PLACES stop caring what 4chan thinks unless you want thorny criticism and don't get so complacent
I am directing this straight to the person who made these as its obvious OP is the guy. It's fucking shit. Any kid with an hour to spend and that has a torrented Illustrator can do this. No you did not start this trend, I have seen this type of artwork way longer than just a month.
There is just nothing creative about this.
Don't try to gas yourself up then run and cry to Twitter because you received negative feedback. You are literally what's wrong with Graphic Designers today. I am telling you now anyone can do what you a hundred times better.
hahahahHAHAHAAH fuck off you fucking autist

Hey those are pretty good, you should hang them on your wall. Then hang yourself next to them.

this is a troll right?
lol this kid's confused as fuck as to why people on the internet tell him his work is shit after being voted 'most artistic' in HS
>>267064
I'm guessing I was right kek
>>267033
>past few months
>>267229
Bruh, its not really the same. There's a difference in depth, topology, etc
>>267252
yeah, the difference is the kraftwerk one isn't shit
>>267260
Theyre both shit desu. Low poly needs to die.
Low poly can be cool when rendered in 3rd, not when done on illustrator with shitty polygones

It will never matter how much time you put in. Hours days weeks. Bad design is bad design if you spent hours doing something, you spent hours makong decisions. If they where the wrong ones tough shit. If they where right ones cudos. But never use the excuse of it took so long it has to be good. Your time is worth nothing and your skill is worth everything. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes to come up with a brand identity for a company sometimes it takes months.
Ive spent 2 weeks on assignments that got a 70% in school. By your logic i should have gotten 100%
I spent 2 days hours on a project that made me 20k. Again ny your logic that should be worth less than the other.
Your time alone is worth dick your skills and application determine what your time is really worth
I think this autist should be the board's new official desginer

Still tracing, still doesn't require any draftmanship skills.
He's from the CoD design community which I recently left to venture into freelance design. The community is full of people using stock images they don't own, texts that aren't free to use and adding some effects and charging other CoD kids £15 for a header. The whole thing is a joke, they all claim to be proper "Graphic Designers" too because they can add some text to a picture, give it a filter and save as a JPEG.
Driveby file dump to a dying thread.
Disregard.
