Did anyone else think this logo depicted a thick book opening to the left?

I thought that's what it was my whole life until someone pointed it out to me this week that it's in fact an eagle. That literally never occured to me. I thought it was a goddamn phone book for some reason.

I've always seen the eagle but I just now noticed the envelope. Good going, OP. I don't see a thick book though.
