I'm working on this, i need to work the perspective more and then make it with illsutrator/photoshop with a grindhouse look

Might be a stupid question, but what is a mockup in terms of graphic design? Does it mean it's not for an actual client?

depends on the context.
Client work - could be that the design is visualised as close as possible to looking like a real thing. E.g. you design a business card, then make a presentation image that makes it look like an actual card on a table

For personal work, I loosely use the term for stuff that looks the part, but doesn't necessarily fit the right metrics, format, etc
