How would you create this '8' design?
>>259224
By making a custom brush in illustrator, then apply it to a 8/S path
Create a first line and duplicate on an axe, and CTRL/D x 8.. And it's over

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I'm tired of saying CTRL+D is for newbs

There you go

a true pro in action right there :)

>never thought of using blend that way
And here I am with my offset path..
>>259254
Gotta be honest , my first try was with offset path , but offset kinda fucks up the path, thats why I duplicated the very first shape and simply scaled it up.

pure gold

the blend tool gave me this

I came

for the ousite shape instead of doing path-> offset path, simply ctrl+c and ctrl+F and scale it up, you will have a simpler path by simply duplicating it instead of doing and offset path which give you unecessary anchors. Do like I did in the gif..
Also the blend tool is giving you that crazy result because there are probably stray points blending in simply:
> object-> path-> cleanup
and then do the blend again.

nice. lovely simplicity, fast and productive. i'm proficient in illustrator, know blend tool fairly well, but still would end up manually constructing the thing using some sort of grid (the default square one or an isometric one i'd make myself)

that look pretty nice for me, you should give this logo to a recording agency or else

I literally cummed.
