How can I improve this logo for a made up UK political party?

preferably cut down to two colours, and maybe something recognisable; tree, rose, pound sign, elephant, donkey. this is a sign you'd see in on a mercenary company in a hastily-designed sci-fi

made ammends, what about this?
>>258902
Is that just a squashed color swapped version of the animus? Could be an OK logo. Doesn't look like a legit political party though.

Looks legitimate. I'm guessing a nationalist, more right-wing party? Eagle has connotations of America, but from a distance / ignoring that it looks like it could be a real party.

Thanks, I'm just not sure about the colour of the eagle, is it too bold?
>>258923
Its not really bold, but it would probably be better in one of the 3 colours of the Union Jack; maybe red? Blue would make it not stand out enough, and white could work but it would blend in with the background on most things. The grey could work as silver if it was on pin badges or the like. Good job though anon.
I think I'll have either this or the eagle as the finished product

I'm not your average /gd/er, quite new to design in general and was just lookin for suggestions.
Your comment however, tells me you have none.

Modern logos need simple, meaningful and bold symbolism.
Lose the pretentious Latin proverbs. Stick to three basic colors and geometric shapes. No shading.
