Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with Inkscape. I know nothing of design/photoshop/this kind of thing, but, recently, I joined a college group that I want to be a part of (Environmental based) and, as a trial, they want me to produce a poster and the tool they recommended and that I will use Inkscape. Help, please?

Really, most of the tutorials about inkscape suck, but not more than every other soft.
