make them less computerized. sit down and sketch orange wedges with pencil and paper. figure out a layout on pencil and paper. the more you rely just on the computer alone, the more you're gonna sit there clicking trying to figure things out as you go.
If you're gonna go with the top one, I'd make the orange wedge smaller and more organic. Right now it looks like a window. The bottom one is in a better direction but the splashes need work. Again, too computerized. Plus squirts from a piece of fruit wouldn't be that big. Focus more on the text, maybe make that look like its squirting?
tl;dr more organic look, rethink layout and scale and colors. less reliance on computer.
