So on
>>/mu/60421384
like a lot of other times, we're making "minimalistic" album covers.
That being said, a lot of what's posted doesn't exactly the definition of "minimalism" (I posted a few and I'll admit some of mine are way too detailed).
So,
>What are your thoughts on minimalism?
>Have any examples of good minimalist designs you've made?
>I guess it would be alright to do a similar thread here? Except you could make minimalist designs of whatever (except do a good job and not shitty pixellated MS paint bullshit that they do at /mu/), not just album art. Though you could do album art.
I usually don't cross post over here but I do occasionally lurk. Hope this thread's fine with y'all.

Goddammit I fucked up the redirect: >>>/mu/60421384

I really don't know much about minimalism, but what I think it is, is that it's about refining an idea down to what it is.
I also made this for the thread pretty quickly.

You just painted over the letters, didn't you? The gradient is too perfect for you to have just made it up now.
>>243435
Basically. Used content aware fill.

Not a fan of their music, but that reminded me of this.
>>243457
The music notwithstanding, it's a slick cover all right.
>>243449
Wrong font but w.e
>>243417
Is that an ANPG or am I fucking mental?
>>243605
What's an ANPG?
>>243605
Not animated. Interesting response though.
>>243603
I just didn't have the right weight. Unless you're thinking of a different album.
>>243457
Is this art still considered minimalist, even though the insides of the circles have those intricate patterns in them?
>>244438
none of it is really minimalist -- every element of it has "unnecessary" decoration
