I had a laptop fixed by a local computer repair store (they replaced my motherboard). A couple weeks later, my computer froze and the screen turned to a solid white screen with horizontal gray bars. I had to turn it off. A couple weeks after that my computer kept crashing after only an hour or so of use. I took it back to the repairman and he said it was my hardrive, but the screen with white bars was my video card. He already said he would fix the motherboard if it was faulty. Could the defective motherboard have messed with my hardrive? He's making pay him $79 for a new hardrive.
Pic related is my laptop
>$79 for a new hardrive
tell him to eat shit.
Get him to repair the screen
Buy a new hard drive for yourself if it really is kill
The white bars are not caused by the hard drive

He already downloaded windows on it. I'd have to buy windows again for $85 anyways if I bought a new hardrive, so it comes out cheaper this way.
