I \m just started learning how to program games. My teacher has provided me with Microsoft Visual Studios to run it. If any one on this site is an actual game dev can you give me some tips and what classes i need to take in collage.

Go to /vg/ for game development, /g/ isn't meant for video games, you'll get more help there.
Convince yourself all you want but you won't need a bigass PC just to make games. You'll get no benefit from purchasing a gaming PC if you honestly want a computer just for programming. But you don't, you want to play video games, and that's why you're here.

Nigger this guy is, at best, programming simple stuff in Unity. In reality he's probably making tic tac toe and other shit.
What I'm saying is if he really thinks taking a basic intro course is justifiable for blowing 800 on a gaming pc, he'll need a better excuse to rationalize his purchase than that. Don't tell me you actually believe this guy is working with Crytek or some shit.
As for the help with what to do to be a game dev. Go to the amateur game dev threads on /vg/.

That computer you posted is basically a scam. You're paying $600 for $300 of parts.
