Well, Anon, I think Manjaro is better for me. However, there is no objectively better desktop linux distro. Also, anon, I think you should install Arch or Gentoo before you say Ubuntu is the best.

I personally prefer Fedora. Ubuntu, in my experience, has been unstable, and I think the Amazon integration controversy sets a precedent for future invasions of privacy.

I've got a Fedora laptop and Ubuntu desktop.
Only difference I've noticed is sometimes Fedora needs more work to get things working.
Broadcom drivers for example.
Also audacity didn't work for some weird reason.

Now I'm using Fedora 23 and Ubuntu 16.04

I'm still on 23, tried updating to 24 but it just updated all my apps instead, so I fucked up somehow.
I'll still get support up till f25 though, so I'll see how that works out. Any serious advantage to 24 over 23?
