quick question....... been trouble shooting this for a couple hours.. When I press my power button the light turns on but NOTHING else starts up except the fan that turns for half a rotation and then stops. No sounds at all. Is my PSU dead? All signs point to that but how would my power button be turning on if the PSU is dead? sorry for support question but i figured somebody might be able to identify the problem quickly. Thanks guys.

It's a prebuilt with a shitty 220w PSU, probably the PSU is at fault here. Just my experience with these things, those PSUs are garbage.

to make sure it's the psu unplug all the power cords, and then bridge the green and a black cable on the 24 pin as seen here (make sure the psu switch is off, and to be safe unplug it from the wall), and then plug it back into the wall and turn the switch on. If the fan spins up, then your psu probably isn't the issue.
