I tried to get some software pushed through the system today. I end up talking to security admin staff asking me why I want it, how will I use it, typical things. She tells me that open source software is inherently insecure and that is the reason my request is being denied.
Is there any proof of this in the last 10 years?

>security admin against FOSS
fake security admin or fake internet story. I'm going with the latter.

no, just trying to make sure I am not crazy. Due to the lack of response, it seems people think I am trolling. It was a she, but she was told by a he so gender isn't really an issue.
I feel better about my world.
