Favorite Android launcher? I've been using Nova and I'm starting to get bored of it. What's a nice refresh?
Nova Prime.

>Get action launcher don't listen to these cucks
Second this. Action launcher is the cleanest most functional launcher. You really don't need anything else
>>55592729
This. 3D touch actions are teh shit. This new widget implementation is fantastic.

Well you have to like it because your Apple overlords say so
>>55593014
Whats not to like. Simplicity is king.
I use ADW launcher but I never see anyone else use it these days
Nova, it should literally be the stock launcher on ALL android phones.
>>55593174
Except nobody really gives a shit about muh ricing
>>55592819
How is it compared to nova?
>>55592715
Nova Prime + KLWP.
Try asap. I used to be a nova fan boy but it's nice using something new

I found that pretty useless
Another function thats dumb but gets a "wow its new!" From fanboys
>>55592770
I store apps on my SD. Whenever I reboot, AL3 deletes the shortcut, and I'm too lazy to restore a backup. I stuck with Nova.
>>55592582
I should probably hand in my /g/ent id card but I installed MS' Arrow launcher on my moto e and I have 0 complaints. It handles the organization of all your home screens based on what you use the most, apps are alphabetical with a really nice translucent background in the drawer, I've been using it for 3 months now and haven't considered switching.

>Lack of Icon Pack support. This is a must because my OEM changes the icons of stock apps and I want the stock icons.
>I can't hide apps (ones the can't be disabled or ones not needing an icon).
>Can't change the size of the grid or the icons themselves.
The only good thing about it is Google Now, but the rest of the things mentioned above are a deal breaker for me.

as far as third party launchers go, do any of them significantly differentiate themselves from each other?
>>55597331
im trying to fiddle around with lightning launcher but my dumb monkey brain can't handle it
>>55592582
I use my own build of KISS that has some status bar changes they want me to make a pull request to merge into main but I can't be assed.
What's the absolute lightest launcher ram wise?
Try ASAP Launcher. Really liked it desu.

Search based laucher v2
>>55597651
Please do, KISS is great but needs some customisation.
>>55598363

All I want is trebuchet but with the added ability to hide/edit apps in the drawer. Using nova free but it doesn't let you hide apps.
I think holo allows you to but it doesn't close the drawer on app start so when you leave the app you get this awkward animation of the drawer quickly closing.
What I might start doing is using T9 app dialer in place of the drawer but the free version has an ad to buy the full version when you're searching.

Been there - never again
>>55592582
no doubt the smart launcher 3, its a minimal launcher with ok customization ability but the best app drawer!
>>55598380
Pull requests scare me.
My changes are up and I linked them. They can easily just copy paste themselves.
>>55598324
Smart launcher 3 works great on my old moto.
