If Windows is so great then how come everytime I fix a computer it comes preinstalled with Windows and riddled with malware? A bunch of shitty software that conflicts with other shitty software until you kill the processes. Even OS X falls short to many GNU/Linux operating systems.

Because contrary to OS X and GNU/Linux, Microsoft does not control the software sources for Windows. On OS X and GNU/Linux, installing something you got from a website instead of from the app store/your repositories is an exception. On Windows, it is the norm. The Windows application suite is the wild west. The fact that it's the most used by computer-illiterate people is just an ironic coincidence.
