My wifi is slow on my desktop but not my phone or laptop. My desktop has an old (>5 years) pci wifi card. Should I just get a new card? What are some other diagnostics I could use?

Laptop: 11 mbps down
PC: .5 down

other than the wifi card the pc is all new parts
the laptop and pc are next to each other
