Designing a desk for my monitors. What do you think?
The surface is 84 in by 24 ft (213.36 cm x 60.96 cm)

84 in by 24 in**

Legs are too thicc

I'd go for something more industrial/minimal, but that's just my tastes
But also yeah, what >>55577902 said
24" is not deep enough, give yourself at least 30"
>>55577889
what are the legs gonna be made of? steel?
real wood or the engineered stuff?
>>55577902
Was going to make them 2x2 inches at first but made it 4x4 inches instead. The seemed too thin for 3 27 inch monitors + the weight of the top which is 2 inches thick (might make it 1.5 inches thick instead).

I'm making it wood because it seems the cheapest and easiest to work with.
>>55577934
Yeah I'm playing with the depth.
>>55577941
Should be all engineered wood so I can keep down the cost.
Monitors are going to be too close to your eyes at that depth.
One arm distance is barely enough for two monitors at an extreme angle, 3 are going to be practically useless at that distance.

Changed the depth to 30 inches.
The middle monitor is 4 inches away from the edge though. I will most likely get a VESA mount though.
Thinner legs and 84 in x 30 in surface.
I think this is final.

Round the corners off of everything.
Paint it all black.
Don't forget to shellack it.
