What's going on at Apple?
Is it because Skylake isn't a worthy upgrade, or is it because they moved too many of their hardware engineers to work on Apple Car, and they now lack the manpower to update their computer hardware?

Apple has pretty thin inventory and only makes as many units to keep the Apple Store shelves stocked for the next week or so.
Inventory glut isn't an issue here.
Also, if they have an inventory glut, it would have shown up on their latest financial statement under the "assets" section.
