The /g/ guide is a bit scarce on mics.
Which do you use, anon?
Are the Blue snowballs good for their price or should I get something else? They're going for 60 euros on amazon.

Buy a good usb bus mixer and a solid condenser mic and you should be as good as it gets in terms of mic quality.

If you just want a cheap USB condenser getting something like the CAD U37(~$45 USD). it's going to offer similar quality to the Blue balls.
If you want professional quality then you will want an actual audio interface which provides 48v phantom power and then you'd buy a nice XLR condenser mic.
There's this thing but I'm pretty sure everyone just buys that Chinese BM-800 and a cheap phantom power dongle now since combined they're still under $20.

Depends on what you need a mic for
If you're using just for voip, the snowball is fine. but 60 euros seems hella expensive for that
I got one on sale for $30 USD
If you're doing any real recording then you'll probably want to get the Audio Technica AT2020
