I've gonna an old computer used for making science that runs 32 bit XP professional. It's been crashing consistently and now the registry is corrupted so it won't boot. Microsoft took down the XP isos from their website and I've tried torrenting a couple, but the setups are modified and they can't be used for recovery. Anyone know how I can get an unmolested XP disk?

nope, still looking for one with a matching md5
also, none of these let me access the recovery console. i'm trying them out on a VM before i fuck up any more, maybe they need to detect a windows installation to give me the option?

Post your MD5

for an hp "oem" iso
fb3032cc7936ee9ae4900b007cbe5cbc
but it should be
C30EC17E20A9B524CE0A4EDA584F0815
i'm gonna take my chances with whatever has the most seeders. just need the recovery console and i figured out that what i said above was correct

Have you tried tried POSReady 2009?

You can download POSReady 2009 straight from Microsoft.
