You can literally get a 120gb ssd for two shekels and a reach around.
Then you can store all your other files on a standard HDD

This
Put your os on an ssd, shits cash
>>55538747
Dont you need to store all the files on the ssd for maximum performance?
>>55538756
Just the OS? didnt i have to put every shit i have for it to be faster?
>>55538770
No, a lot of things are useless on an ssd
The boot time and core utils of your os however are god like on an ssd.

its better if you do, but it is not needed, so buy a cheap one.

This. SSDs are also quieter, but this isn't important. There's a more important thing you might want to consider, though; SSDs have a finite number of reads/writes (but for regular usage, this is likely not a huge problem: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2043634/how-to-stretch-the-life-of-your-ssd-storage.html).

Also, I should mention that SSDs are continually improving, and I think this also includes longevity, but I don't have a source for that.

You mean by updating?

I mean that the article is from 2013, so SSDs nowadays are better; so don't be too freaked out by the graph.
