Hey, I think my power supply keeps overheating but im not sure.

Hey, I think my power supply keeps overheating but im not sure.

Hey, I think my power supply keeps overheating but im not sure. I already ruined one graphics card. Which I thought was just he card overheating, but now after getting a new card and the same thing happening (power supply box getting really hot, also gfx card getting hot and eventually shutting down my computer)

Is there anyway to know if the power supply is starting to go? Or know for sure its my power supply? I ran the same setup for well over 2 years with no issues, then one day the card / supply started getting really hot , but only when I play graphic intensive games, which I used to play no prob.

Anyone had this happen or know if it might be something other then power supply? Thanks.

If the power supply gets hot you're either drawing like 1000W or you're using a power supply with efficiency numbers so low that Diablotek would beat you.
