What the hell happened between Android Kitkat and Lollipop. What made Google think it's acceptable to release a shitty slower version of the OS? Every device I've tried runs better under KK and the notification shade is much better.

but some things do suck
like swipe up to unlock
notification tiles/ shade is kinda gimped
recent apps could be better
but it runs smoother and more fluid for me on most apps and UI than KK
