Hey /g/, my Nexus 5 is really starting to show its age. Battery barely lasts a day, UI effects are starting to feel a little sluggish, and some portions of the XDA camcorder "fix" aren't quite cutting it anymore. I've been trying to hoard some money away for when the new Nexus or iPhone drops, but I might have to get something in the interim if this thing gets any worse.

So /g/, what's the Nexus 5-tier phone of 2016 (so far)?

I'd also like to take a moment to point out that the Nexus 5 has been one of the best phones I've ever used, hands down. The fact that it is only just now beginning to shit itself after almost three years of continuous use is incredible.

did you install official cm13 nightlies ?
with those the phone should last another 2-3 years

Try CM13, but id hold out for nexus 5x successor if you must have a new phone.
