I'm building my first ever gaming pc and my problem is, that I don't know what kind of psu I need.
Will a '500 Watt be quiet! Pure Power 9' do it, or do I need something with more power?

6700k is 95w. OC'D maybe 160w. The GPU is ~150w

You'd be fine with 400w, 500w is more than enough.

The be quiet is fine
However, if you don't care about aesthetics and modularity, the seasonic 650W SS-650HT is very good for the price.
They are $35 on eBay.

thanks m8.
I forgot to mention, that there will be 1xSSD and 1xHDD and 1x DVD drive. I will also use 16gb ram on my asus z170 and 3 120mm fans for the cooling.

thanks. gonna check that out.

Won't make an appreciable difference. SSDs are generally 5-10w. HDDs slightly more around 15w peak for older drives (~10w for newer drives). RAM is ~2-4w per stick. DVD drive 15-25w. 120mm fans will be around 4-8w depending on the motor RPM (and required amps).

You're looking at maybe 75w more there for everything else. And remember these are peak power levels during full load. Under normal circumstances your computer will never be using literally all your components at once to their fullest.

500W Bronze PSU is enough.

I run an I7-4770, R9-290 OC, 2HDDs, 1SSD, 2 RAM sticks, 3 fans.
