because it requires less fiddling. Out of the box musicbee looks good and has good themes. why put in that effort for no reason.

Stopped using fb2k about a year ago. Found something lighter and with a prettier interface. Although it doesn't have extensible format support like fb2k does. It's not like I need to play any chiptune formats.
