What keyboard do you use for your Android?
I recently got my first Android after years of using an iPhone and love it. My only issue is that after years of the iOS keyboard I'm having a terrible time adjusting to anything different.
What are the best keyboards for Android, as far as layout, simplicity, autocorrect and overall quality?
I'm going crazy not having the iOS keyboard, they only thing at all I miss about an iPhone.

I have an iPhone for work and I type a lot of emails on it. Have an S7 as my personal phone and while it shits on the iPhone in most regards, iOS keyboard is just better than anything you can get on Android, from my experience.
Swiftkey has the best predictions and Google keyboard is the most accurate for me., Those are your best choices probably and both are good just not iPhone level unfortunately

This is Minuum. Takes some time to get accustomed to it, but it's worth it. I can take without looking because I only need to move my fingers left and right and do some gestures. For complex words there's an easily reachable full mode.

You should be using the google keyboard and make sure it's up to date.
It has very easy word deletion, cursor movement, and supports swipe also.
You can also change the size and colors of the keyboard to whatever you want. It's also got a nice one handed mode.

This. I use a much older version of SwiftKey since I didn't want that emoji update. It's still pretty great.
Just use the latest Google Keyboard, to to your Phone Settings->Language and Input and adjust it to your needs. Seriously, its awesome. Different themes, adjustable height, accurate swipe input and self-improving spell correction.

Hold down on the enter key in the bottom right and you'll see some circles pop up. Drag your finger to the left and it'll enter 1 handed mode.

Are there any IT certificates that aren't scams? I watched around 25 hours of course time plus extra hours setting things up for a CEH certificate. It turns out self-taught isn't good enough and if you are they want you to have at least two years experience in security... Google/AOSP keyboard is the best. It's free, the most responsive, and has swipe capabilities for faster typing especially with one hand. Once Android N comes out it'll have quite a bit of customization as well.

Fleksy is a pretty decent keyboard, it has a clean visual and I type really fast with it. It only misses a swipe function (it's easier to type with one hand), that's why I'm using Google's Keyboard now.

It's a small caveat to deal with in exchange for the cool shit like one handed mode, swiping on the space bar to move the cursor, and height adjustment

Is it the keyboard that causes autocorrect? It's infuriating when I type slang or something and it tries to correct it with a word. I have to select the word, backspace, then type it and press a space otherwise I can't misspell anything.

I've been using it for a few years now, got too used to it to switch to anything else. Punctuation shortcuts are great, themes are pretty good and you can customize quite a bit. The only thing it's missing is changing the layout to Dvorak. I have a feeling that would be better for swiping. Also, why isn't anyone testing different layouts for gesture typing? Qwerty seems a bit retarded. Dvorak might be better, but I doubt it would be optimal, since that is made for touch typing and gesture typing is quite different.

What makes me mad is that google keyaboard learns what you type, and yes I turned off every telemetry ot dictionaries or any shit that would improve my text. When I first got it, typying 'fucking' wrong would show me suggestions like: ducking, jumping, hunting. Now after 3 months it literally shows me the word 'fucking' when I type it wrong.

I use Any Soft Keyboard. No complaints here and anytime I pick up an iPhone I find typing on it to be worse. I have auto correct set to medium. The main thing I like about Android keyboards is being able to long press keys for numbers and such rather than having to switch to another set of keys all the time. Not sure if iOS has this now though.
