Has /g/ accepted the best in cell service yet?

I have.
>>
Um, why would I subject myself to the greater of bonnets?
>>
I use it. I like it for the most part, but I always feel guilty using data since you pay for each 100 mb you use.

If there was a cheap unlimited option it would be the best shit ever.
>>
>>55484704
I just started using it too. Liking it so far. Had better service with Verizon, but I was also paying 100, so fuck that.
>>
>>55484844
If there was a cheaper unlimited option than sprint it would be abused
>>
>>55484852
I was paying $90/month on at&t. I know the pain
>>
I pay $100 a month for TWO lines with unlimited everything on T-Mobile ... Assuming I use ~4 gb a month, would it be worth switching?
>>
I pay $50 a month to lease a phone AND pay the bill. I barely use data, so Fi was a fucking godsend to me.
>>
I like not being broke thanks

How does /g/ get their phones into their cells?

Do they just hoop it and hope the C.O.s don't do a full body search or what?

It's only $55/month if you do auto-reboost

>(really just throttled Sprint speed)
Nope, it's legit unlimited high speed data. I use 100-200GB a month.

>data for every month on a subsidiary network of the 3rd overall slowest network in the country!
I love this meme.

You should go check out that offer again. It may not specify what is labeled as "high speed" but after the next standard of 5G you will only get LTE unlimited
>>
>>55485267
see >>55485269
>>
>>55485312
The plan legitimately does include unlimited high speed data. If Boost doesn't deliver then they would have been sued into bankruptcy. That hasn't happened.
>>
>>55485354
Specified that high speed is a relative term. Hence when carriers didn't carry over unlimited plans from 3g to LTE when they did for 3g to 4g
>>
>>55485040
>Assuming I use ~4 gb a month, would it be worth switching?

If you use 4GB per month on each phone, no. Project Fi would cost more. In fact. I'm pretty sure it would cost more for most people unless they're constantly within range of WiFi.
>>
>>55485495
Meh. Unlimited high speed data at 20-30 Mbps most of the time is good enough for me.
>>
>>55485499
What about those who have a difficult time keeping signal in the middle of nowhere?
What if I end up paying more to at least have 4g in an area where both at&t and Verizon only gave me 2x/edge? It has been worth it to me

Other providers offer WiFi calling.

>What if I end up paying more to at least have 4g in an area where both at&t and Verizon only gave me 2x/edge?

Project Fi is an MVNO running on Sprint and T-Mobile's networks. So you could pick one of them. Though I have a hard time believing there are places in the US where Verizon doesn't have the best coverage. I mean, that's their primary selling point.

Only costs me $25 a month, so I like it pretty well. Still, if you're a big data user I can see why you'd shy away. The price per gig is pretty high.
>>
I was paying 50 a month on tmobile for unlimited everything. Now I'm paying 40 for 5GB of 4G on walmart family mobile. Literally laugh at people bragging about their contracts

Eurofag Reporting in. Is ist normal to pay that much for Phone service in the US? I'm not using mobile data that much, therefore i habe a capped connection @2GB, but I only pay 8.50 Euro.
>>

Boost is ghetto as fuck used by blacks. T-Mobile is what the Mexicans use
>>

Only white people dish out a grand a year for capped verizon/att services. plus 600 on cell phones every 1-2 years. Living the trump life huh?
>>

Mexicans use AT&T pinche cabron. T-mobile is for niggers. Boost is mainly used by smart white people who don't don't wanna get fucked in the ass with $10/GB plans from google.
>>
>>55484704
Best for what? Clearly not for data usage(who the fuck uses calls and sms nowadays anyway?)
>>
>>55485758
I pay 45$ a month here in cuckada.

I have unlimited text messages and around 200 min per month? I think calls after 6 are free. I have a 800MB data cap.

>Is it normal to pay that much for Phone service in the US?

Here's an old example of how fucked US cellular services have been for decades. Back before we had ubiquitous unlimited text messages, carriers charged both for sending and receiving SMS. So if a spam service got your number, you could be charged ~25 cents every single time you were offered Viagra. So lots of people disabled sms altogether.

Now they just fuck us out of money with overpriced data plans.

But at least we're not Canada.

Because, unless you're using replicant or Cyanogen without gapps *AND* someone audits every line of replicant/Cyanogen, you already are part of it. Beyond that, just using a cell phone means you're trackable already.
>>
>>55487740
But I am running Cyanogenmod without Gapps, but every lines has been audited, that's how development works. But there's a degree of botnet, it's not a in or out thing. But now you're just throwing it all away by routing all your mobile Internet connections thorough an ad company. Now you're just being naive.

I'm on neeT-Mobile pre-paid. It's only $25/mo unlimited talk text no data. Why should I switch? I never leave the house so I don't need a second internet connection.
>>
I pay 16 euros a month and I get 50 gigs of 4g, unlimited text and calls plus if I go for a foreign country for less than a month I get 10 gigs of Internet + unlimited calls and text for free.

So if this shit has coverage in Canada. For no roaming costs...
How do i smuggle one up north? Order sim to a us adress, us billing adress? I can do both i just don't have an american credit card.
>>
>>55485499
150$ for 5 lines on TMobile, unlined everything. Google Fi would cost over twice as much as unused 5 gigs last month and T-Mobile let's you stream Spotify for free.
>>
>>55484704
>best
Utterly laughable.
>>
>paying money to the cell phone jew
>not utilizing free wifi
>not using apps like magicjack, NextPlus, FreedomPop
>>
>>55484786
Because they don't let any person just activate a SIM in your account by impersonating you like T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon do.
>>
>he doesn't use Ting
Cucks everywhere
>>
>>55488599
T-mobile is for people who want multiple unlimited lines (and actually take advantage of them) or those who are addicted to streaming services (Binge On and Music Freedom).
