Is there any privacy optimized Chrome fork?
I'm using Firefox and since years now it's getting worse and worse. After a fresh install it works great, but after some weeks I can't even use it anymore. I notice the same when browsing for long. After a few hours tabs don't load and everything slows down. Restarting often doesn't even help, I have to refresh the profile. I don't even have any Extensions besides Adblock, Noscript and Ghostery.
I know about Chromium but I always get weird crashes and after that the installation seems to be broken and I have to install it again. Chrome works fine as it is but my tinfoil hat won't allow it.

Opera

they're also a major contributor to the Blink rendering engine, second only to Google

Does Opera do any fishy stuff in the background? I don't care that much about Free as in Freedom, but I don't want any telemetry getting sent to HQ every click.

As a matter of fact I have. I do use it at work but I don't really like it. Also, I get a message that it doesn't work with admin account on my home pc.
