I don't know if this is a troll or one of those faggots trying to give that more exposure so it gets fixed.
This is a pretty common issue, though. A lot of laptops need to be worked on for full compatibility. No one's claiming that Apple laptops are some magical exception.
Anyways, I've tried multiple distros on my rMBP 13 and they all worked fine, so this is isolated to the crappy one-port 480p wonder that is the MacBook.
