Are there any alternatives to OGYouTube? It always resets after a few minutes of background streaming or screen off steaming. I heard about NewPipe, is that any good?

NewPipe is my choice, but it has it's limitations because it protects your privacy by only retrieving the video content. So you can't see the comments, you can't search for channels, etc. It has plenty of comfy features tho, just like OGYouTube. If you want privacy and the ability to download/play in the background then NewPipe is the way to go. Only problem I have is that if you start a video (not in background mode) and go to another app temporarily, when you come back the video restarts at the beginning

WebTube is an open source app with standard YouTube UI.

NewPipe is goat.
It can be buggy sometimes, but otherwise it's pretty good.
Skytube is decent
