best hand-me-downs/thrifted/trash picked finds thread?? today my dad gave me a call to tell me about a thinkpad he had sitting around and told me to take it. T520, i7, 16gb RAM and a 128gb SSD with 2 batteries and a dock. Thank you based netapp guy for upgrading their fleet like clockwork I love you.
also copped these 3 recently. shit has straight up been cash.
I was given an Advent Roma Laptop. It's nothing great but it is ok for torrenting and shitposting. I wouldn't pay money for it.

Family and friends all upgrade computers every 2 years or so. They generally hand their old ones over to me. Pretty nifty getting 2 year old macbook pros and dell/alienware stuffs from friends.
I generally cannibalize what I can to make a the best machine possible and sell the rest.
