So I've resorted to Pale Moon. So far it feels about as fast as Firefox and the addons I use work and the lack of Australis is fucking amazing. I will immediately switch to another browser if /g/ can recommend one better.

I actually started using palemoon as day to day browser because chromium/chrome has a lot of problems with dom-relevant javascript on my machine. Clicking into a thumbnail on facebook takes like 10 seconds to load the image, meanwhile it's adhoc on pale moon.

They're under "advanced settings", far from hidden. If you don't bother looking through unhidden settings (things that aren't something like about:config) then you aren't worried about things like these in the first place and these aren't a problem to you.

The best browser right now is Chromium. I used Pale Moon, it's a joke for security and it's so outdated. I always had problems with the addons, the interface. Chromium is light-years ahead and runs smooth as hell. I use Inox.

Out of all the big ones they are the only open source browser, so if they lose all their users it's not going to make some Firefox fork the most popular browser, people will just change to full botnets and forget about open source browsers permanently. After Firefox is secured I might switch to some fork but now I can't, personally.
