Does cable internet installed in modern facilities still have issues with slow speeds during peak times? Currently I have internet with ATT with 50down/ 5 up, but they have bandwidth caps ( 600gb) that i'm hitting consistently. Time Warner Cable just installed internet in my apartment complex that has 300down/20up.
I know lots of people still talk shit about ISPs because they don't understand things like congested WiFi in the area on 2.4 ghz channels, but is this so called "cable speed drop during peak times" a reality, or is this just people who don't understand how wireless transmissions work / people with malware and shit eating up bandwidth?
