Its a magic mouse, they have shitty plastic slides and the battery door closes with a jank pressure fit results in battery door and bottom of mouse dragging against desk wearing though

Literaly every 5 years old+ laptop I open.
In the few first HP laptops I worked on it was so thick, dense and regular I thought it was a part of the cooling system, some sort of retarded filter. Although I'm sure it's engineered to collect dust, as it does it so well.
