What do you think about these? Are here some people who runs a server on it? How is the performance?
I'm using it as an at home fileserver, torrentbox, mpd server, and media center. It's fine
I use it to serve files to millions of users simultaneously and haven't had any problems.

You'll get more RAM (like 8X), an x86 processor, and better upgradability.

In addition to this A53 cores are weak as fuck, like weaker than Atom cores. The Athlon 5350 is at least 4X more powerful than the quad-core A53 module @ 1GHz on that raspberry pie meme

Mini itx cases like the $20 xion exist you know.
Also A53 and kabini cores have pretty much the same performance-per-watt. Yeah the 5350 has a power consumption of 25 watts under load but that's because it has at least 4X the performance. You can easily underclock the 5350 to like 1.4 GHz and lower the power consumption to ~10W.
