Better than TN but still not perfect. If they manage to make OLED less volatile then IPS will be outdated.

Pretty much what im waiting for.. Currently have Philips 1080p IPS and really hope my next screen will be OLED in couple of years.

In terms of being a mature technology available at "normal" prices then yes. There's OLED too, but that's around the $5000 mark for some of the first monitors around.

This. Once OLED monitors become affordable I'm getting rid of my old-ass CRT for one of those.
