I like folder based players because I just drag all my music folders from my PC onto my phone and it's sorted the way I'm used to it. I have a weird way of grouping my music so "by artist" or "by album" never worked for me. Making playlists would take too long. MortPlayer is the best folder based player I've used so far. I don't think there's been an update in a long time though.
