Good place to ask I guess;

My old Altec Lansing 251 has been dying for years and I recently attempted to replace it with a Logitech Z533 only to send it back because it sounded like utter shit compared to the 251 set.

The question is, is Logitech terrible or have I just chosen a bad set?

I don't know about that but my Altec Lansing does just fine and I'm not asking for more. It probably was under $100 some 15 years ago.
