Could ramspeed cause bottlenecks in Photoshop performance? I still use 1333mhz and get a lot of stuttering here and there

No, it's either your disk, CPU, or GPU, if Photoshop does GPU acceleration.

Yes it could, image filters like gaussian blur are often ram/vram bandwith limited, but I don't think low ram speed would cause stuttering all the time so your problem probably lies elsewhere
I would think so, I've max out my 16GB setup often and I imagine that's a fuck load of throughput. I also have 1333 MHz, an old SSD, i7 and a Gtx 580

Doesnt photoshop use your ram to store the image before putting it on the hard disk?
Would explain why this shit runs even slower if I open it from my hard drive.
Also Ive got a i5 4590 and r9 390, it cant be that cpu/gpu intensive can it?
