Firefox is great with shitloads of tabs.
With one caveat that applies to all browsers: you have to not be a child and actually CLOSE the browser sometimes. And be smart about how many/which extensions you install

Since I've switched back to Windows, I've found that Firefox has gotten a lot better. It's still not as fast as chrome, but it's gotten a lot faster and more stable and it also supports more video codecs than it used to.
