Maybe I'm just a slow upgrader, but it feels like android gets and update faster you can buy a phone with the previous version installed.
Update: Android Nougat is the official name of Google's next Android update, replacing the placeholder Android N, and its release date just weeks away. We also officially got word that it'll be Android 7. Here's everything we know today, as of Developer Preview 4.

Don't tell me my phone is less than capable of running N. I expected this shit when phones had less than 1GB of RAM but nowadays every phone should have at least 3-4 years support behind it. My phone may be 3 years old come October but it's still fast and smooth as hell. Not like the days of running ICS or JellyBean with only 500mb of RAM.

I'm on N it's not much different besides better doze (your phone doesn't have to stay completely still to turn on anymore) and they added a night mode which I do get a lot of use out of.
